Double-faced coat has become more and more popular and a must-have item in recent year.
It is made of two pieces of fabric, woven together with fine thread.
On the garment, there is a small seam allowance, so the garment can be extremely light weigth, clean, seamless on both sides.
This detail gives it that very luxurious feel.
A sharp knife is used to open the fabric before closing the garment.
A lot of people don’t really understand the complexity of the process.
The closing of the seams is done by hand.
If you don’t have skilled handwork and quality fabric, double-faced will lose its luxury look.
The patience, time, and skill that go into it is so important for us.
Few places and skilled workers even do this any more.

**********How to take your measurements:************

***Bust:
Wrap tape measure under the armpits, around the fullest part of the bust.

***Waist:
Wrap tape measure around where you normally wear your pants.

***Hips:
Stand with legs about 6 inches apart and measure around the fullest part of the hips (usually about 7-10 inches below the waist).

***Shoulder Width:
Stretching the measuring tape across the back, from the very end of the left shoulder to the end of the right shoulder.

***Armscye:
Wrapping the tape measure from the top of the shoulder, down beneath the armpit and back up to the top of the shoulder.

*** Bicep Girth/Upper Arm:
Measure around the widest part of your bicep/upper arm, so that the tape meets on the outer part of the bicep.
Wrapping the tape measure from the top of the shoulder, down beneath the armpit and back up to the top of the shoulder.
